afterlife keeps on going strong! earlier this month they brought us tale of us & vaals monument and that just got a proper remix treatment. no others than stephan bodzin and barnt, two artists, who stand out notably for their unique sound took turns on the original lead track and put their very personal touch on it.

tale of us present a new collaboration with vaal for the sixth release on their afterlife label. three years after they teamed up for -concur- and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet.

tale of us are carmine conte & matteo milleri. born in north america, raised in italy, at home in berlin. and this is their first release for minus. both musical and minimal, tale of us strip things back to their most basic ingredients. circular phrases hinting at the melancholic slowly spiralling downwards.
